“Desi’s Hideaway was the highlight of our vacation. We had several incidents throughout the weekend, the only light at the end of the tunnel was returning to our home away from home. “This place was extremely hard to find in the pitch blackness that is a typical Texas evening, I did 3 u-turns on 55 because I was afraid to use someone’s driveway. This river access has it all , shallow areas , 5 feet deep areas , excellent fishing throughout the whole river. The kayaks were a plus and were an awesome experience for the kids . The market in camp wood was nice on a Saturday. Hosts were awesome , we loved it and we will be coming back here. ”

“I greatly enjoyed working with Tasso, the property’s host. They were very easy to communicate with and worked with me to accommodate some unique needs. The property was so serene and beautiful. The home was exceptionally well appointed and spacious. I had fun introducing my kids to their record player and their enjoyably eclectic album collection made for the perfect soundtrack to our stay.
